Across Connecticut, Lions are committed to investing in the next generation through Youth and Leo Programs. Lions clubs in Districts 23A, 23B, and 23C work side by side with young people to develop leadership skills, encourage service, and foster a lifelong commitment to community involvement.

By engaging youth early, Lions help build confident leaders who understand the power of service and teamwork.

Leo Clubs: Service in Action

Leo Clubs provide young people with meaningful opportunities to serve their communities while developing leadership and organizational skills. Supported by Lions mentors, Leos plan and carry out service projects that make a real difference.

Leo activities across Connecticut include:

• Community service projects

• Hands-on volunteer work alongside Lions

• Fundraising for local and global causes

• Participation in Lions service events and initiatives

• Peer leadership and teamwork development

Through these experiences, Leos learn responsibility, compassion, and the value of giving back.

Leadership Development & Mentorship

Lions provide mentorship and guidance to youth and Leos, helping them grow as leaders both in and out of the classroom.

These efforts include:

• Leadership training opportunities

• Public speaking and organizational skill development

Youth Service Projects & Community Engagement

Youth and Leos actively participate in hands-on service projects that address real community needs across the districts.
